- Chicken wings
- 2 Tbs Soy sauce
- 2 Tbs Sugar
- 2 Tbs Mirin or Sake
- 2 tsp freshly grated ginger
- 1 tsp Sesame oil
- Sesame to sprinkle
Method for "Chicken wings in Japanese style":
- Heat oven to 400â
- Wash chicken wings if needed
- Poke chicken with folk to make holes
- Mix soya sauce, sugar, mirin or sake, grated ginger, sesame oil
- Marinade chicken in the sauce for 15 minutes
- Spread on an oven pan, sprinkle sesame seeeds and roast for 20-25 minutes till they become crispy brown color
- While roasting, simmer the rest of sauce in a small pan with low heat. Use it if you like more sauce when you serve.
